We're always looking into different ways to ensure security and reliability of services in line with international standards.

Please be advised that effective 15th September 2020, our hosting servers will only support secure communications to our incoming and outgoing email servers. This is to ensure that your email communication remains secure and encrypted from the time it leaves your computer to the time it reaches the server.

No action is required for users already using secure ports or webmail for checking their emails, and/or using business email solutions such as Google G Suite or Microsoft Office 365.

Effective Date; 15th September 2020

Impacted Users include;
- Users who use non secure ports for POP, IMAP, SMTP
- Old email clients or devices that may not support latest encryption ciphers

How to check if I am affected;
- On a PC using Outlook, go to your email settings - followed by More Settings > Advanced Tab. You are impacted if you see port numbers 110, 143, 25 or 26.
- On a Mobile device, go to your email settings - and look under advanced settings. You are impacted if you see port numbers 110, 143, 25 or 26.

How to fix my settings;
- For incoming servers, enable security of SSL/TLS/Auto and use these ports; POP (995) or IMAP (993)
- For outgoing servers, enable security of SSL/TLS/Auto and use these ports; SSL (465) or TLS (587)
